Hello dancers!  Thanks to everyone who made Riverfest a great dance experience this year.  We had another successful year with the parade, and a great crowd turned out to hear Lavay last Thursday.  Plus, we topped 100 people at Swingin' Sundays last week!  We have a few more things to put on the calendar, but first we have a great dancing weekend ahead of us:

 

SATURDAY - For those of you not heading out of town, cruise on over to the Old Town Farm & Art Market from 10-Noon.  Why?  Because Ronnie Choy is DJing and they want dancers!  This was a fun time last year, let's pack the square again.

 

SUNDAY - Partner Charleston in the basement!  It's the last week so don't miss out, we have more new Charleston moves to show you!

Sunday, June 1st:  Lindy in the Basement is back!  Come learn the original swing dance from us so you're ready to learn from some of the world's best at the anniversary!  Plus, Ronnie Choy is DJing!  It's going to be a party!

 

Saturday, June 28th:  It's another blended workshop!  Last time went so well we had to do it again.  Two classes in Lindy Hop, two classes in blues, all the dancing you can handle!

 

July 26th and 27th:  WSDS 8th Anniversary!  6 hours of class and 6 hours of dance!  Featuring world class instructors and your favorite local bands.  Space is limited so buy tickets now!  $30 for members, $45 for non-members!

 

I can't stress enough how important it is to buy your anniversary tickets soon.  We have a limited number, we're about to start selling to out of towners who will travel in for the event, and without a ticket there's no guarantee you can come to anything.  We expect to sell out.  Plus prices go up July 13th, so buy this Sunday!
